People often talk about saving on location, materials and quality of finish.
This ‘universal attitude’ in 1989 was the reason why founding father Andre Snippe moved into what was a completely new sector for him and he decided to ‘take a completely different approach.’
He had a vision, a new ‘value for money concept’, and above all a passion.
His understanding of modern society and respect for the past, his sense of unique locations and his lifelong love of interior design have all contributed to the foundation of this creative and innovative business.
Everything is done to a strict pattern: only develop and build in locations where the managers and staff of Snippe Projecten would like to live, work or shop themselves.
No compromises will be allowed.
The Snippe story began on the edge of Amsterdam’s central ring of canals: with about one-hundred small apartments of 50 to 60 square metres each, finished to a standard that was unknown at the time.
An advertisement in a national daily newspaper not only elicited thousands of responses, but also built strong foundations to establish this enterprising, innovative project development firm.
Its staff are highly committed and always recruited locally.
They have experience in the market and they know and understand the rules that govern each locality.
In 2004 came the first move into the international market, with the City Projects NV office in Brussels that can bear comparison with the Amsterdam office in terms of size and complexity.
City Projects NV has remained completely loyal to what has now become a tried and tested concept: high-quality projects, finished to a very high standard, in locations where people want to live, work or shop, at acceptable market prices, and in locations where others have not (yet) dared to develop, but where a demand has been identified.
